• Room Inspection and Maintenance
• Maintain stock of room amenities and upkeep of furniture and fixtures.
• Regular inspection of rooms. Ensure cleanliness and maintenance.
• Cleaning Schedules
• Develop and manage staff cleaning schedule.
• Prioritise cleaning tasks based on occupancy.
• Develop a flexible scheduling system to meet demands of varying occupancy levels.
• Staff Training
• Train Housekeeping staff on efficient cleaning techniques and the importance of attention to detail.
• Energy Efficiency
• Instil energy saving practices among staff such as turning off lights and appliances when not in use.
• Communication With Other Departments
• Maintain open communication with other departments, especially front desk and maintenance.
• Stock Control and Record - Keeping
• Supervisors are responsible for monitoring and controlling the inventory of housekeeping supplies, such as toiletries, cleaning agents, linens, and towels.
• Maintaining accurate records of inventory levels, usage, and orders is essential. This documentation helps in analysing trends, forecasting future needs, and ensuring accountability in the use of resources
