For the project we are currently looking for Graduate Engineer - Structures with knowledge of design of Railway and Road Bridges.
Responsibilities
- Performing required activities associated with projects (investigation, analysis and design) in line with client and DB specifications/standards and Eurocodes.
- Preparing and registering all relevant documents and design reports and ensuring that the documentation is current, accurate and in compliance with DB E & C (Deutsche Bahn Engineering & Consulting) Quality requirements.
- Contributing to the resolution of technical challenges on projects and providing technical guidance to other team members.
- Keeping up to date with innovations and developments.
- Being familiar and compliant with relevant Health & Safety regulations and to promote a culture of awareness within the team.
- Preparation of Bill of quantities.
- Should complete the assigned Task within the allocated Time, Budget and Quality.
- Independently work on the given tasks with minimal or no support from others.
- Ability to work in a Team and integrate his/her ideas with that of the Team.
- Performing other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time by your manager or DB E & C.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and Master’s degree in Structural Engineering.
- Knowledge of design of Railway and Road Bridges, Retaining walls for Permanent and other important structures for rail infrastructure.
- All deliverables will be in German. Hence the knowledge of German language is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of design of bridges (steel, concrete (reinforced and Prestressed), Composite).
- Good understanding of geotechnical engineering, ability to read the Geotechnical reports and apply this knowledge in the Design.
- Knowledge of REVIT and AUTOCAD.
- Excellent analytical knowledge in the planning of Foundation system such as Flat foundations, Deep Foundations with Piles, Micropiles etc., for Bridges.
- Working knowledge of structural analysis and design software packages.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
