Position Summary : The Zonal Sales Manager will be responsible for driving the sales strategy, team performance, Profitability and revenue growth for the designated region. They will provide leadership and direction to the Zonal sales teams and collaborate with senior management to ensure alignment with the company's overall objectives.
Key Responsibilities :
Strategic Sales Management :
- Develop and implement a Zonal sales strategy in line with the company's objectives
- Analyze sales metrics to determine business growth potential by region and individual territories
- Identify new business opportunities and potential threats within the zone.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, coach, and mentor the Zonal sales team to achieve and exceed their sales targets by conducting regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Hiring of State Heads / BDM to ensure 100% manning in their territories
Client Relationship Management :
- Establish and nurture relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and decision-makers in the region.
- Address and resolve significant client concerns and ensure client satisfaction.
- To handhold & work closely with the sub broker / IFA / Channel partners to ensure Scale up, retention & addition of new clients
- Organize events & activities for generating new leads for Sub Broker / IFA & new channel partners
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth service delivery to clients.
Market Intelligence :
- Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor strategies, and market challenges.
- Provide feedback to the senior management and marketing teams regarding competitor activities and market insights.
Budget Management :
- Prepare and manage the sales budget for the region, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
- Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures when necessary.
Collaboration :
- Work closely with other regional Sales Managers and the central sales and marketing team to ensure consistent messaging and strategic alignment across regions.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth on-boarding and service delivery for clients.
Qualifications and Experience :
- Master's degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 8 - 15 years of sales experience in the stock brokerage/wealth management industry with at least 5 Years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a large sales team.
- Comprehensive understanding of the stock market, trading platforms, and financial instruments.
- Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office.
