Job Summary:
As the HR Department Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department. Your role involves managing a team of HR professionals, implementing HR policies and procedures, and providing support to employees and managers across the organization. You will contribute to the development and execution of HR programs that align with the company's objectives and foster a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead the HR team, providing guidance and support to team members.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to facilitate professional development.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand stang needs and ensure timely and effective recruitment.
- Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
- Conduct investigations into employee complaints or concerns and recommend appropriate actions.
- Administer the performance management process, ensuring timely performance reviews and goal-setting.
- Provide guidance to managers on performance improvement plans and employee development.
- Identify training needs and coordinate the development and delivery of training programs.
- Support employee development initiatives to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Implement and enforce HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Keep abreast of changes in employment laws and update policies accordingly.
- Assist in the administration of compensation and benefits programs.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding compensation, benefits, and HR policies.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives.
- Organize and facilitate employee recognition programs and events.
- Generate and analyze HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs.
- Prepare regular reports for management on key HR indicators.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related, years of experience in HR, with 9 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus
