Job Description:
"The Senior manager is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the sales function of an organization. This role involves developing and implementing effective sales strategies, managing a sales team, and driving revenue growth. The senior manager of Sales works closely with the VP of sales to define sales objectives and align them with the overall business goals.
Managing the Sales team for a co-working Space Company plays a critical role in driving sales, expanding the customer base, and maximizing revenue. This position requires strong leadership skills, sales expertise, and a deep understanding of the co-working industry."
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and Implement strategies: Create and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive business growth and achieve sales targets. Identify target markets, develop pricing strategies, and explore new revenue streams.
2. Team management: Lead, train, and motivate a sales team to achieve individual and team sales goals. Set performance targets, provide coaching, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
3. Customer acquisition and retention: Identify potential customers and lead generation opportunities through networking, marketing initiatives, and industry events. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and proactively address any customer concerns or issues.
4. Pricing and contract negotiation: Collaborate with the finance team to establish competitive pricing strategies that maximize revenue and occupancy rates. Negotiate and finalize contracts with clients, ensuring terms and conditions are aligned with company policies and profitability objectives.
5. Market analysis and competitive intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities in the co-working space industry. Conduct market research and analysis to identify growth opportunities and potential threats. Utilize market insights to refine sales strategies and differentiate the company from competitors.
6. Collaboration with cross-functional teams: Work closely with marketing, operations, and finance teams to align sales strategies with broader company objectives. Collaborate on marketing campaigns, promotions, and events to generate leads and increase brand awareness. Provide input on space planning, amenities, and customer experience to optimize sales potential.
7. Sales reporting and analysis: Monitor sales performance and generate regular reports for senior management. Analyze sales data to identify trends, evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement. Utilize CRM systems and other sales tools to track leads, manage customer relationships, and streamline sales processes
