Business Head- Solar
Role & responsibilities:
- The position holder will head the entire Commercial & Industrial (C&I) function right from acquitting the contract to execution. Would be responsible for Business Development, Strategy & Planning, Financial Analysis, Market Entry Strategy, and Project Development.
- Lead Solar Project Development cycle starting from signing of power purchase agreements, land identification & acquisition, development permits, project execution, approvals, regulatory and asset management.
- Formulating business strategies, generation of new business, contract negotiation and responsible for major revenue collection of the organisation.
- Managing a multi-specialty Team of Project Management, Asset Management, Business Development, Contracts, Regulatory and Liasoning, Proposal & Quality for smooth Operations.
- Developing and maintaining key channel partners while exploring new avenues and opening up new streams of business
- Responsible for Tender bidding process by preparing the required reports, Techno commercial discussions, Vendor Selection, Technical Site visits for evaluation of Land nature.
- Enforce safety and health plans, quality and environment management plans are implemented by the EPC contractor at Solar Project sites
- Govt. Liasioning works with local Discoms, TRANSCO and CEIG for getting necessary approval for construction.
- Development and iterative management of business processes on estimation, sales, value generation, project management and after sales services.
- Providing all the regulatory and technical expertise related to identification of prospect and capacity
- Analysis of existing and proposed regulations and Govt. orders in order to provide updates on current market conditions and upcoming procurement opportunities to management.
