Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sr. Sourcing Manager to join our team. The Sr. Sourcing Manager will play a pivotal role in identifying, evaluating, and selecting suppliers while ensuring the procurement of quality goods and services at the best possible prices. This role requires excellent negotiation skills, market knowledge, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers based on cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with suppliers to achieve favorable terms for the organization.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, supplier performance, and industry developments to make informed sourcing decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand procurement needs and requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies that optimize procurement processes and drive efficiency.
- Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure adherence to quality standards and ethical practices.
- Maintain accurate records of supplier contracts, agreements, and performance metrics.
- Proactively address supply chain disruptions and resolve any supplier-related issues in a timely manner.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, promoting collaboration and open communication.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in sourcing and procurement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Sourcing Manager or in a similar procurement role of 7-8 years in E-commerce and direct procurement. Sourcing experience from international markets is must.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of achieving cost savings without compromising quality.
- Excellent communication is must and interpersonal abilities to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, market trends, and supplier performance metrics.
- Familiarity with procurement software and tools is advantageous.
- Solid understanding of supply chain processes and best practices.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a team, multiple tasks and priorities.
