We are looking for someone to Manage HR and employment law related compliances
Responsibilities:
- Should be able to help enable a legal view and look at the legal aspects of HR compliance from systems, process, and any structural aspects.
- Deal with the issues that HR professionals must contend with in most of their work functions, predominantly in overseeing and managing duties related to employee benefits.
- Facilitating execution of necessary compliance related frameworks, policies, and changes
- Work closely with leaders on a variety of HR compliance topics
- Sound knowledge of PF, Gratuity, ESIC and other employee benefit related laws and regulations.
- Well versed with HR policies, compliance audits and should be updated with all labor laws of India and the Labor Codes
- Must be familiar with a wide array of different statutory and regulatory authorities to deal with company personnel effectively and lawfully.
- Adhere to HR regulations, policies, and governing entities that human resource must comply with. Insurance, Wage regulations, Employee contracts, severance pays and remunerations (payment of bonuses, gratuities, insurances etc.)
- Responsible for Internal controls and audits, liaising with HR teams as appropriate on audit participation, status, and action plan management.
- Accountable for ensuring that policies and controls that put Genpact at risk are implemented in a timely and accurate manner.
- Represent the HR compliance agenda on cross-discipline initiatives and committees.
- Independently undertake compliance trainings, well versed with MS office, hands-on with presentations
- Experience in compliance function – monitor, prepare and publish compliance reports and observations.
- Drafting skill is mandatory - Experience of drafting responses to govt notices, letters etc., provide clarifications through response.
- Excellent communication skills
- Serve as liaison to internal and external legal representation as needed.
- Should be able to represent Genpact in external legal/HR meets, forums, handle audits and co-ordinate Labor Inspections with documentations and responses.

- Should be a LLB,
- Experience in Compliance area
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
- High ethical standards and commitment to maintaining confidentiality in handling sensitive tax information.
