Key Responsibilities:
1. CSR Strategy and Planning: Develop, refine, and execute a holistic CSR strategy aligned with the company's values and business objectives.
2. Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate and manage relationships with diverse stakeholders, including employees, customers, investors, NGOs, and local communities.
3. Thematic Programs: Lead the design and implementation of thematic initiatives like eradication of hunger, education, girls/women empowerment, helping the elderly, livelihood training, supporting people with disabilities etc and ensuring measurable impact on these areas.
4. Philanthropy and Community Development: Oversee corporate philanthropic activities, grant programs, and community partnerships to enhance the company's social contributions.
5. Ethical Standards and Compliance: Ensure the organization adheres to ethical standards, legal requirements, and industry best practices in all CSR endeavors. Establish and maintain a robust compliance framework for CSR activities, conducting regular audits and assessments.
6. Governance Oversight: Develop and implement effective governance structures, policies, and procedures to ensure transparency, accountability, and ethical conduct in CSR practices.
7. Internal Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to integrate CSR principles into business operations, ensuring a unified approach towards CSR.
8. Reporting and Communication: Develop comprehensive CSR reports, effectively communicating achievements, goals, and overall impact to internal and external stakeholders. Including but not limited to the board.
9. Resource Management: Manage the CSR budget efficiently, optimizing resource allocation for maximum social and business value.
10. Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging practices, and propose innovative approaches to enhance CSR initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's degree preferred.
- A minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in CSR, compliance, or related fields.
- Proven success in developing and implementing impactful CSR strategies.
- In-depth knowledge of global CSR frameworks, ESG principles, compliance, and governance.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive change and instill a culture of Social Responsibility within an organization
