Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and optimization of search and matchmaking algorithms, ensuring accurate and efficient results that meet user expectations.
- Design, execute, and analyze A/B experiments to optimize user engagement and conversion rates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define the product roadmap, aligning it with the company's vision and goals.
- Advocate for the user by conducting in-depth user research, understanding user needs, and translating insights into product improvements.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings, and apply this knowledge to maintain a competitive edge.
- Utilize data analysis and user behavior to make informed decisions, continuously refining and enhancing the platform's algorithms.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with engineering, design, and other teams to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.
- Coordinate testing and quality assurance efforts to ensure the reliability and performance of search and matchmaking features.
- Oversee the successful launch of new features, and work on their continuous improvement post-launch.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the impact and success of search and matchmaking enhancements.
- Foster a feedback-driven culture, both internally and through user feedback, to drive ongoing product improvement.
Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; MBA or advanced degree a plus.
Proven experience (5+ years) in product management, with a focus on search and matchmaking algorithms.
Strong understanding of data science, machine learning, and AI.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in translating data insights into product improvements.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Experience with agile development methodologies.
A deep understanding of user-centered design principles.
