The lead eLearning (or) Instructional Designer/ Developer creates and manages the creation of highly engaging self-paced, on-demand courseware for Thomson Reuters Markets clients worldwide.
The incumbent is capable of both hands-on production and project management of outside contract production resource, handling multiple simultaneous projects.
The Designer/Developer drives and/or participates in learning needs analysis, design, scripting, development, testing, implementation and evaluation of training materials, ensuring that they complement the overall training strategy.
The incumbent collaborates closely with different areas of Knowledge Network, Marketing, and other key groups, subject matter experts, management, and other parts of the overall business.
Courseware created by staff in this role allows the firm to serve our clients in highly effective fashion with quality, modularized training that is available any time, anywhere, and in a cost efficient manner.
About the Role:
In this role as Lead Instructional Designer, you will:
Produce world-class, next generation eLearning modules and courseware based on clients' workflow and business requirements.
Manage projects from start to finish and collaborate with different areas of Knowledge Network and business partner groups.
Author and create scripts and storyboards for use as on-demand modules.
Convert instructor-led training scripts into on-demand learning storyboards, scripts and deliverables.
Manage vendor eLearning production as required.
Credibly engage and interview subject matter experts to gather and codify financial markets content for delivery Find creative solutions to designing eLearning offerings that are relevant, engaging and effective for our clients.
Inject the Thomson Reuters brand attributes into all offerings: human, agile, clear, optimistic.
Continuously build personal knowledge of the financial markets, Thomson Reuters products and the firm's clients.
Attend business approved professional courses and seminars; read journals and trade publications to proactively address changing market/industry needs/trends.
Continuously build personal knowledge of eLearning, training, technology, and software trends and developments.
Partner and share knowledge with peers and colleagues to enhance the team's overall capabilities
About You:
You are a fit for Lead Instructional Designer role, if your background includes:
You are well versed in authoring tools. A must have knowledge in Articulate 360, Articulate Rise, Camtasia, Vyond, and Adobe Suite. Good to have knowledge in tools like WellSaid.
Experience in handling projects.
Excellent stakeholder management and delivering the projects as per the needs of the stakeholders.
6-8 years of related experience as a Instructional Designer.
Communication comes naturally to you and are able to put your point across to all the various stakeholders, peers, and colleagues accurately.
You must have an ability to create engaging learning content
Work from office 2 days in a week (Mandatory)
