Specialist Instructional Designer

Job Summary-

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Instructional Designer with a proven track record in developing effective and engaging eLearning content. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in instructional design, adult learning principles, and hands-on experience with rapid authoring tools. This individual will play a crucial role in designing and delivering innovative, learner-centric training solutions to meet the organization's goals. Having expertise in specific areas such as gamification,
mobile learning, or other specialized skills related to instructional design is a plus.

Responsibilities:

1. Instructional Design:

• Analyze training needs and work collaboratively with subject matter experts to gather information.
• Design and develop engaging and interactive eLearning courses, ensuring alignment with instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
• Create storyboards, scripts, and multimedia elements to enhance the learning experience.

2. eLearning Development:

• Utilize rapid authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) to create dynamic and visually appealing eLearning modules.
• Integrate multimedia elements, simulations, and assessments to enhance the effectiveness of training programs.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continually improve eLearning development processes.

3. Project Management:

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including graphic designers and developers, to achieve project goals. Specialist Instructional Designer Job

4. Quality Assurance:

• Conduct thorough reviews of eLearning content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to instructional design standards.
• Implement feedback from stakeholders to enhance the overall quality of training materials.

5. Training Delivery (Supplementary):

• Facilitate train-the-trainer sessions and provide support to trainers during the implementation of learning programs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field.
• 3 - 6 years of experience in instructional design with a focus on eLearning development.
• Proficiency in rapid authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of adult learning theories and instructional design models.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities.
• Creative mindset with a passion for developing innovative and effective learning solutions.
