Instructional Designer

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Are you a tech-savvy educational enthusiast ready to take on the challenge and wear multiple hats, playing the role of innovator, researcher, and developer? You approach learning from the perspective of the end user. You understand how to create a positive experience and can find quick solutions for stakeholders. We are looking for an Instructional Designer to design, develop, and curate learning & development materials for our global virtual, hybrid workforce.
WHAT You’ll do
§ Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and understanding
§ Apply tested instructional design theories, best practices, and methods
§ Work with subject matter experts to define scope of learning experiences
§ Set instructional end goals and create content that matches them
§ Analyze and apply trends and best practices in learning technologies and instructional design
§ Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process
§ Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role-plays, games, etc.)
§ Devise modes of assessment, such as tests or quizzes, to measure the effectiveness of the learning experience
§ Maintain project documentation and learning content
SKILLS YOU’LL HAVE
§ Previous working experience in instructional design
§ You have experience with authoring tools (Storyline, Captivate)
§ Visual design skills (Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator)
§ Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio, and video scripts
§ Your passion for wanting to help others develop is evident in everything that you do
§ You know how to measure and monitor the impact of programs and solutions – and make changes where needed to drive even better results
