Job description


Overview
The Business Development Manager is responsible for the topline sales growth of their HVAC Services and Pump business vertical line.
Key Objectives:
Deliver topline sales growth for the Industrial Pump and Services business. Driving sales growth, profitability, and new business and market development. Also hold direct reporting responsibility for ensuring timely delivery of committed products and services through liasoning with business stakeholders.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Owning and executing the growth plan for the business, including identification and execution of ways to significantly grow market share;
• Ensuring profitable growth;
• Plan and prioritize tasks and responsibilities to meet the needs of the customer and business;
• Product line planning and execution, including pricing strategy;
• Responsible for generating and managing enquiries for Pumps & Services in the region of Operation, based on customer needs and proposing solutions;
• Acquisition of new customers;
• Working with OEMs, consultants and contractors to get approvals in vendor lists.
• All closure of commercial transactions such as negotiation, closures, payments & other statutory compliance follow up;
• Ensuring timely delivery and installation of products and services;
• Assists management in leading the team as needed.
• Ensuring constant coaching and training of the sales force;
• Customer Satisfaction and Performance review after installation;
• Grow the business by identifying new sales and Business Development opportunities.
• Seek opportunities to cross-sell or upsell to existing Customers;
• Ensuring Service follow ups;
• Understand the problems and challenges of Customers and identify ways the business could better address those needs;
• Plan and conduct customer presentations, and other marketing activities to existing and new customers.
• Managing customer meetings and communication related activities through CRM and report the same to management;
Qualifications
Graduate Engineer in Mechanical preferred Or: Diploma - Mechanical
• 5+ years of experience in the Industrial Pumps including HVAC and Hydropnumatic applications and HVAC services industry, including sales management in this territory for at least three year
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation and organizational skills
• An aptitude for quantitative analysis, strategic and tactical thinking, and detailed planning
• Market development and sales management in pump markets
• General management experience
• should be able to handle Customers independently,
• Good in networking
• Experience in business to business marketing design and installation
• Should be sound in entrepreneurial thinking, and technical skills
• Should be willing to travel extensively in the region
