- Develop and implement procurement strategies for medicines to meet organizational objectives and budgetary requirements
- Source and evaluate medicine suppliers based on price, quality, availability, and reliability.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to obtain favourable pricing and service agreements.
- Manage supplier relationships and resolve any issues or disputes that arise.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
- Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier performance.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as finance and logistics, to ensure seamless procurement processes.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains within the procurement function.
Skills & Experience:
- Any Graduate /Any Post Graduate (Master's degree preferred)
- Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management I pharma companies.
- Candidate must have the proven working experience in Pharma companies.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for supplier visits.
