We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Manager specializing in tunneling to join our team. The Assistant Manager will work closely with the Tunneling Manager to oversee all aspects of tunneling projects from planning and design to execution and completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with specific expertise in tunnel construction techniques, safety protocols, and project management.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Tunneling Manager in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets for tunneling projects.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design tunneling solutions that meet project requirements and adhere to industry standards and regulations.
• Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment required for tunnel construction.
• Supervise onsite activities, including excavation, drilling, and tunnel lining installation, to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of tunneling worksites to identify and address any safety hazards or quality concerns.
• Monitor project progress and update stakeholders on key milestones, budgetary concerns, and potential risks.
• Manage a team of tunneling engineers, technicians, and laborers, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback as needed.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure seamless coordination and execution of tunneling activities.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, including project reports, drawings, and specifications.
• Serve as a liaison between project stakeholders, including clients, regulatory agencies, and community members, to address concerns and ensure project success.
