Job Description

Reporting to the Head of sales, the candidate will contribute to overall department and sales strategy of the company by generating business for our electronics products from assigned territory / accounts. Candidate will represent the company to various customer segments with major focus on Institutions. Candidate will be responsible for achieving annual territory sales target through suitable and consultative account management, maintaining an awareness of the business and competitive environment.


Key Accountabilities:


  • Achieve and exceed annual sales targets across each profit centre, contributing to overall revenue objectives of the eBooks Team
  • Plan, schedule and carry out regular sales visits to customers to achieve financial targets within own sales region across product portfolio, customizing sales documentation and tools to maximize sales opportunities
  • Cultivate strong, holistic relationship with the customer base, working to ensure that trading with each account is sustainable, profitable delivering high level of customer satisfaction
  • Report periodically to the line manager to summarize the team sales progress and the business environment
  • Candidate will be responsible for the coverage of Institutions as well as trade partners to ensure maximum revenue generation
  • Prepare and contribute to sales meetings and event to build strategic awareness and to gather market relevant intelligence

This is an individual contributor role.


Qualifications
  • Candidate must have a rich experience of working in sales environment.
  • Knowledge of the academic publishing and have good experience of the institutional
  • Competent user of core MS Office package

Skills and Behaviour required:


  • The ability to work independent and proactively
  • Willingness to travel

You must have the right to work and live in India.
