Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Vice President of Sales to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales leadership within the software and IT services industry, with a deep understanding of the sales process, customer needs, and market dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue targets and expand market share.
2. Build, lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to drive individual and team success.
3. Collaborate closely with other departments, including marketing, development, and customer success, to ensure alignment and maximize customer value.
4. Participate in overseas events and conferences as an attendee or by organizing and managing our booth, representing Ace, and networking with potential clients and partners.
5. Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and product development initiatives.
6. Drive continuous improvement in sales processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
7. Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, KPIs, and key milestones to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
8. Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in sales management and leadership.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business administration, Marketing, or related field.
2. 15+ years of progressive experience in sales leadership roles within the software and IT services industry, with a track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
3. Proven ability to lead and motivate a sales team, with excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
4. Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable sales strategies.
5. Demonstrated success in building and nurturing customer relationships, with a customer-centric mindset and a focus on delivering value.
6. Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and drive results.
7. Overseas travel experience for meeting prospects and attending events and conferences, demonstrating adaptability and cultural awareness.
8. Proficiency in CRM software, sales automation tools, and other sales management technologies.
9. A passion for technology and innovation, with a keen interest in staying ahead of industry trends and developments.
