Position Overview
A VRM's role is pivotal since they are the face and spokesperson of our company.
They liaison with our vendor partners to ensure growth in sales and smooth business operations.
They will be responsible for relationship management, efficient communication with our vendor partners, to resolve any issues that may come up, and subsequently be intuitive about their pain points and expectations from us as their partners.
In essence, their efforts are directed towards strategically increasing sales, driving growth, and building valuable long-term relationship with potential and existing vendors.
Responsibilities
- Establish, maintain, and nourish strong business association with vendors while utilizing your prized interpersonal skills
- Develop and deploy business plans for vendors managed by you
- Define and drive sales to meet specific targets (monthly/quarterly/yearly)
- Maintain healthy profitability while driving revenues with vendors
- Analyse and upkeep key performance metric to ensure smooth delivery of business
- Effectively negotiate terms of trade to improve business association
- Analyse data to better understand current business health, operating metrics, and competitive landscape to identify pain points and opportunity for improvement of both customers’ and vendors’ experience
- Timely resolution of issues of various departments and stakeholders
- Research and deploy new business opportunities with new and existing vendors
- Management of vendor onboarding team members along with meeting onboarding targets
Qualifications
- Excellent verbal / written communication and interpersonal skills
- Advanced knowledge of Excel
- Enthusiastic personality and willingness to take up challenges
