About Business line/Function:

ALMT function is responsible for Asset Liabilities management and treasury activity of BNP Paribas. It also handles Bank’s funding needs and risk management activities. ALMT IT is a Deal Capture & Deal Processing Application catering to IT demands of ALMT functions within the bank.

OMR is a back office application used to handle the settlement and associated functionality of local booking within ALMT world in BNP Paribas. OMR IT team supports the functionality through customizations on the vendor product OMR, design and development of interfaces that communicate with other applications as part of the settlement lifecycle and also through a set of Business Objects reports that provide insights and necessary control for the Operations and Business

Position Purpose

Current position is under ALMT IT OMR Team scope to contribute in Test Engineer capacity on supporting both functional & technical test responsibilities for OMR (ALMT) application. The individual must be particularly well versed in testing of complex systems by following accepted best practices for high availability. The person should be an innovative, highly skilled individual who can add value to the IT community and work with developers, business analysts, project teams, SME , APS and technical architects

Responsibilities

• Test analysis – understand requirements for test (review of documentation, attendance at meetings, collaboration with Project team, etc.)

• Functional Test case designed for assigned requirements

• Requirement review and walkthrough with BA

• Test execution for the regression(manual + automated) and functional testing

• Share daily, weekly, monthly reports both Automation & Manual testing cycles

• Driving root cause analysis in the event of defect leakage/KPI breach

• Test Maintenance of regression tests/Scripts

• Peer review QA checks of test scripts/test execution of other analysts

• Optimize the regression test pack and bring in execution efficiency in BAU releases

• Adhere to all testing process and to use standard templates during Releases

• Report progress to Test Lead

• Participate in stand-ups

• KPI collation for OMR application

• Involve in preparing Test Plan and Closure reports for releases
