About This Role:


Bechtel is seeking a Talent Acquisition Operations Specialist to join our team. This role will have a Global focus & will collaborate with the regional Talent Acquisition teams in the creation, maintenance, communication, and implementation of programs and processes to support the global Talent Acquisition strategy and execution.


Specific areas of focus will include (but are not limited to) assisting with the development & roll out of TA training programs, change management & systems enhancements to support operations, TA event support, Employee Referral Programs Coordination


Key Responsibilities: 


  • Work with the global TA Technology & Engagement & Operations teams to review and refine the current related Talent Acquisition process & policy training materials and assist in effective training roll-out and adoption by the regional Talent Acquisition team/s. These audiences include TA Specialists, TA Coordinators, TA Sourcing Specialists and Hiring Managers
  • Support communications across multiple audiences on the roll out and implementation of key or new Talent Acquisition technology, processes, and procedures.
  • Support and coordination of professional hiring events and engagement activities as required.
  • Partner with the TA Technology & Engagement Lead in the compilation and presentation of regional Talent Acquisition metrics and reporting as it relates to our key TA technologies & vendor partners, developing stakeholder reports and dashboards, and leveraging utilization data to inform decision making & identify potential opportunities for improvement.
  • Work with the regional Talent Acquisition teams to identify & resolve technical or process related issues.
  • Manage required pre-employment processes in the region such as background investigations, employment/degree verification, drug-screening, right to work/employment verification.
  • Manage regional employee referral bonus programs including verifying candidate/employee eligibility and coordinating bonus payment with local payroll.
  • Support the TA Technology & Engagement Lead & team in other related areas and activities as required. 
     

About You: 


  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or demonstrated experience in lieu of degree.
  • Prior experience working in either human resources and/or Talent Acquisition function.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills (including fluency in English)
  • Mid-level experience with MS Office suite (including experience with PowerBI and Visio)
  • Prior experience, or familiarity with, a broad range of Talent Acquisition systems and tools including ATS & CRM technology – Prior experience with SAP/SuccessFactors preferred.
  • Solid understanding of Talent Acquisition process & best practices
  • Effective communication, relationship management, analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
  • Self-motivated with strong initiative and excellent judgement
  • Strong external/internal networking and collaboration skills
  • Ability to coordinate process improvement using performance metrics.
  • Self -motivated with the ability to work autonomously often with tight deadlines.
