Oversee financial accounting and reporting activities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial data.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop budgets and forecasts.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members, fostering their professional development.
- Conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other statutory filings.
- Participate in financial planning and analysis activities, including variance analysis and financial modeling.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
- Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including senior management, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in financial operations.
Required Skills & Qualification:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory with 10 years of progressive experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work and strong organizational and time management skills.
