Business Development & Relationship Management
- Liaise with the Department stores for business opportunities
- Negotiate with the DS management to get the prime spaces for the brand
- Negotiate on commercial terms for new DS as well as during renewal of contracts
- Ensure early mover advantage in all initiatives
Merchandize Management – Planning & Buying
- Influence the retailer on the merchandise grid
- Develop Sales Plans and Set Season Targets
- Develop Buy plans and Manage Trade Show Buying
- Stock Planning & Allocation, Order Execution and Logistics
- Track Performance via Key MIS and Review
- Conduct market visits to understand the consumer preferences
- Competition mapping
Brand Imagery
- Ensure that the Brand identity is maintained in the SIS format for new stores as well as existing stores.
- Influence Secondary growth in dept stores.
Team Management
- Implement retail best practices to deliver higher sales
- Set Team Financial Targets & Manage Incentives. Manage attrition in team
- Recruitment and workforce management
- Set goals and identify skill gaps of the team
- Resolve conflicts, if any among the various interfaces
- Coaching and mentoring of team members
- Team motivation
