SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:
The Project Manager (PM) is accountable for project delivery and cost by managing all project resources to client satisfaction.
PM is responsible for complete project management of Modular Systems based on company’s proprietary technology. This includes managing activities of process design, detailed engineering, procurement, fabrication of equipment and modules, inspection & epediting, transport to customer site, support during erection, pre-commissioning, commissioning performance test runs and handover PM shall also be responsible for project monitoring and control w.r.t. HS&E, quality, time and cost. PM is also responsible for cost estimation, customer invoices and vendor bills. PM is responsible for contract and risk management of projects(s).
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
PRIMARY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Co-ordinate engineering activities so as to ensure outputs in accordance with design basis, codes etc.

- ternal agencies in support of activities for assigned Project(s)
- Manage change orders that define changes (either in scope OR delivery impact OR both) for assigned Project(s)
- Reporting of project metrics for assigned Project(s). Ensuring timely issue of internal and e
- ternal project status reports
- Manage customer and supplier interface for assigned Projects(s)
- Interface with management on the progress of the project(s)
- Ensure that company’s HSE procedures are implemented on assigned Project(s)
- Manage project close-out activities including Final Data Books etc. for assigned Project(s)
- Work on several projects simultaneously with varying scope and effectively prioritize workload to ensure deliverables are met
- identifying pre-engineered system requirements and preparing specifications for such system
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Planning and tracking of department budget including in-house and outsourced manpower, CAPE, OPE- and CSR
- Coordination with HR for resource acquisition and assistance in resource selection and handling department personnel issues.
- Identify and track issues and risks for smooth (productive, safe and information security incident free) functioning of department and related functions.
- Preparing and updating department processes and SOPs
- Capturing & Management of Department Knowledge – lessons learnt, best practices etc.
- Assistance in Cost Accounting for costing of all department activities
- Keeping department databases updated and generate MIS reports as required
- Support Department Compliance & Audits
- Support to Sales in preparing cost estimate
- Co-ordinate post hand-over customer services and support for operation of plant.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering
WORK EPERIENCE:
- Min. 10 years in independently managing medium sized projects for process industry (refining/petrochemical/specialty and fine chemical/pharma/ bio fuels) Eperience in e
- ecuting modular / skid projects will be an advantage.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES/TRAININGS:
- Professional body certification in project management will be an added qualification.
