Description
Join GlobalLogic, to be a valid part of the team working on a huge software project for the world-class company providing M2M / IoT 4G/5G modules e.g. to the automotive, healthcare and logistics industries. Through our engagement, we contribute to our customer in developing the end-user modules firmware, implementing new features, maintaining compatibility with the newest telecommunication and industry standards, as well as performing analysis and estimations of the customer requirements.
Requirements
What Makes you a GREAT FIT
- Should have good program management skills with experience in planning, execution, tracking, RAID management skills
- Should be able to drive and coordinate implementations of standards, processes, tools across various product groups within the Product development organization
- Should be able to handle budgeting, financials, billing aspects in an organization, understanding and analysis of various attributes impacting P&L, what-if analysis, etc.
- Should be able to handle costing, budgeting, procurement and usage of hardware and software assets/licenses in the organizations
- Should be familiar with managing costs/expenses under various Capex/Opex items, including spend on public cloud (i.e. AWS, Azure costing) usages and cost-optimization levers
- Should understand various engineering metrics and measurements, tools, benchmarking standards/guidelines. Understanding SaaS metrics is a bonus.
- Should be familiar with usage of various PLM tools (ex. JIRA, Confluence, Wiki, etc.), with ability to drive process changes, auditing of compliances, generation of adhoc as well as standard reports from such tools
- Should have a strong understanding of agile development methodology, product/technical roadmap, agile metrics, engineering metrics on quality, productivity, schedule, etc.
- Should be able to drive implementations of policy and procedures, mandatory training/certifications, tracking of defaulters, etc.
- Should be able to generate people metrics around hiring, attrition, performance-measures and draw trends and inferences on the same
- Should be able to work with Recruitment team to plan and track hiring requirements and track progress on hiring across the hiring lifecycle
- Should be able to track onboarding/offboarding process and track process-adherence, audit, report gaps, etc. on the same
- Should be able to drive various events in the Product Development Organization i.e. Innovation-Week, Tech-Summit, etc.
- Should have the ability to create executive presentations on engineering initiatives, metrics, performance
- Need to have good communication and articulation skills, to effectively coordinate and collaborate across various stakeholders and departments
