Network Infrastructures-Network Operations Advisor

Project Role : Network Operations Advisor Project Role Description : Utilize industry/domain experience to deliver business value to clients. Implement and stabilize client network processes, maximize client operations, or uncover opportunities to reduce costs, increase revenue, improve customer satisfaction and optimize business processes. Develop industry expertise or standard network frameworks (e.g. e-TOM) to improve client business functions like network planning and operations, order management, provisioning, test and install and service assurance etc. Must have skills : Network Infrastructures Good to have skills : Enterprise Network Operations Minimum 2 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : A: 15 years of full-time education. Key Reponsibilities : A: Responsible for Providing 24x7 operational support of existing IT Infrastructure like network Monitoring, implementation and troubleshooting of network Infrastructure and technologies to meet our client and enterprise requirements B: Role requires on-call support as well as scheduling and attendance for maintenance windows C: Co-ordinating with service providers product vendors to work on trouble ticket/vendor ticket Escalating issues at vendor end and driving issues till resolution D: Evaluate and remediate security vulnerabilities in the network E: Major Incident handling and Change request coordination Initiate, technical documentation, Execution Technical Experience : A: Should have 5 to 7 years excellent knowledge and advanced understanding in configuring and troubleshooting Routing protocols like BGP, EIGRP, OSPF and RIP B: Should have experience in troubleshooting complex network issues C: Experience in troubleshooting LAN technologies like STP, VTP, Ether-channel and VPC D: Experience and understanding of Gateway redundancy protocols like HSRP, VRRP, GLBP E: Experience in performing IOS upgrade on Cisco Nexus platform, routers and switches F: Should have Hardware knowledge on devices like Cisco Nexus Series, Cisco ASR Routers , HP switchesetc Professional Attributes : A: Good verbal and written communication skills to connect with customers at varying levels of the organization B: Ability to operate independently and make decisions with little direct supervision A: Should be open to work in shifts B: Only for Bengaluru location
