Job Title - Business Development Manager - Salesforce Services
Location - Pune (Hinjewadi Phase - I) and Nagpur
Position - Full Time
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to spearhead our sales initiatives in India. This role involves strategic planning, market analysis, and fostering relationships to drive Salesforce Reseller and implementation services Sales.
Requirements:
Salesforce Reseller Partnership Management:
- Develop strategies to maximize the benefits of the Salesforce Reseller Partnership.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Salesforce representatives to stay informed about new products, features, and partnership opportunities.
- Collaborate with Salesforce to organize joint marketing events, webinars, and workshops to increase brand visibility and product awareness.
Market Analysis and Strategy Development:
- Conduct thorough research to understand the emerging market dynamics, customer needs, and competition in the Indian Salesforce ecosystem.
- Develop and execute a tailored market entry strategy for Salesforce products and services in India.
Sales and Business Development:
- Drive the sales of Salesforce licenses by identifying potential customers in various industries, especially those where Salesforce has a lower market penetration.
- Create and implement effective sales pitches and presentations tailored to the needs and challenges of the Indian market.
Client Relationship Management:
- Establish and nurture long-term relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their business needs and how Salesforce solutions can add value.
- Provide ongoing support and consultancy to clients to ensure their continued satisfaction and to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
Team Collaboration and Leadership:
- Work closely with the marketing and technical teams to develop compelling sales materials and ensure that service delivery meets client expectations.
- Lead and mentor a team focused on Salesforce product sales and services, fostering a culture of success and continuous improvement.
Educational Initiatives and Training:
- Stay updated with Salesforce certifications and encourage the team to do the same, ensuring high expertise in Salesforce products and services.
- Organize training sessions for the team to enhance their knowledge and skills in selling and implementing Salesforce solutions.
Feedback and Reporting:
- Regularly gather customer feedback to understand market needs and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Prepare detailed sales reports and forecasts, analyzing market trends and identifying areas for growth and improvement.
Experience:
- Minimum of 4+ of experience in Business Development, sales, or a similar role, preferably within the IT or Salesforce ecosystem.
- Proven track record in sales and client relationship management, particularly in the context of software or technology products.
Salesforce Knowledge and Skills:
- Deep understanding of the Salesforce platform, its products, and services.
- Familiarity with Salesforce sales strategies and the Salesforce Reseller Program.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant) would be a significant advantage.
Market Understanding:
- Strong knowledge of the Indian market, particularly in the technology sector.
