Roles and Responsibilities
- Plan for manpower through sound recruitment guidelines.
- Plan and implement an induction program for all new employees.
- Plan and implement performance appraisal, replacement and transfer of the staff.
- To advise and implement on employee salary/wage and benefits to attract and retain a highly motivated staff (including the promotion policy).
- Establish a proper grievance handling system.
- To keep up to date with labour law and statutory requirements and ensure compliance by contractors, if appointed.
- Participate as a member of the negotiating committee on labour relations and assist in development of pre-negotiation strategies and plans Handle staff absenteeism.
