We are looking Business Development Executive / Sr. Business Development Executive for our Maritime Advisory Group. We are looking from core Maritime industry background experience.
What will you do
Proposals
- identifying leads and opportunities in the maritime sector for public and private sector- through newspapers and tender websites, sharing market insight through information pieces in newspapers
- manage preparation of Prequalification Questionnaires, Expressions of Interest, Vendor/Supplier Questionnaires
- carry out detailed reviews of Request for Proposal (RfP) documents, identify critical requirements (e.g., key dates, expertise needed, compliance issues, bid programme, and client queries etc.)
- support in preliminary analysis of leads and RfP (Go /No-Go) based on business priorities, assist in preparing documents for internal approval process
- assist in preparation, co-ordination, and submission of proposals; assist in integrating methodology text provided by experts / subconsultants, company profiles, project references, staff descriptions, etc.
- assist in preparing presentation for clients
- work under the constraints of time to ensure timely submission of bids (via hard copy, digital, portal, etc.)
- contribute to the development of best practice bidding skills
- maintain pipeline list of leads and proposals, follow up with clients
- drive the process of evaluating our proposals (Win/Lost) with DAG – what we do right and where can we improve
- assist in leading ‘lessons learnt’ reviews and capturing feedback for continuous improvement of the proposal process
Internal Operations/ Business Processes
- assist in preparing bids in line with Royal HaskoningDHV’s QHSE Management System, integrity code, with particular focus on bid phase (e.g., go/no go, proposal kick off, 4 questions etc.)
- support the continuous improvement of tools and resources for MaritimeBusiness Development and proposal activities (e.g., bid library, standard texts, project & client references, pictures, etc.)
- contributing to the overall development of the Maritime bidding capability by sharing best-practice bidding knowledge
- support the Global Maritime Business Development Team with pipeline management including the use of CRM, ERP tool (ABW), Tableau, and other data tools
Business Development / Prequalification Questionnaires / Expressions of Interest, etc.
- support maritime business developers by preparing presentations with relevant content and in attracting new business
- support business line and corporate groups with marketing and campaign activities (e.g., capability statements, website)
- Provide support for marketing activities for Maritime India AG; example – maintaining project sheets, capability statements for Maritime projects in India with support from project teams, identifying speaker opportunities and provide support during events if any

What you bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Sales & Marketing / Communications from University of Mumbai
- minimum of 2-3 years working experience in Business Development Profile
- interest or affiliation with Business Development and Marketing
- experience in the use of Microsoft Office including MS Powerpoint
- excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines
- creative, has an eye for detail, dependable, flexible, innovative, and can work independently
