About The Role :
A Project Manager within BrancoSoft, You will be responsible for leading professional services engagements, ensuring projects meet scope, timeline, milestones, budget and quality expectations, through planning, controlling and managing projects aligned to the BrancoSoft.
The Project Manager will understand the requirements from the Account Manager and BDEs and lead and support the project team (which may consist of Solution Architects and software developers).
- Responsible for planning, organizing, managing, controlling and communication on all aspects of the assigned project within the scope, time, cost and quality thresholds set
- Responsible for leading and supporting the project team to ensure successful delivery and closure of the assigned project
- Facilitates the development of the project artefacts and other documentation in collaboration with the project team
- Facilitates regular core team meetings to review risks, issues and monitor project health and progress.
- Create regular Status reports and distributes them accordingly
- Manage and control costs to drive financially healthy projects by governing planned vs. actual efforts
- Identifies and develops new opportunities within current project supporting early qualification and opportunity assessment
- Provides training to others and assists them with their professional development
- Guarantee the performance of the teams, with quality and opportunity before the clients, and ensure that the guidelines of both the client's and the organization's frameworks are met.
- Responsible for directly managing multiple projects within a service practice ensuring at least 80% productive utilization
- Manages first level to mid-level client delivery relationships and resolve conflicts
- Manages knowledge sharing within a community (e.g. team, practice, region)
- Ensures team members support knowledge sharing and reuse requirements of project
- Track and manage project activities such as Schedule Management, Cost Management, Risk &
- Raise change requests proactively and try to no deviation in planned vs. actual variance in terms of schedule, effort, etc.
- Participate in upselling and presales activities
- Support project reporting activities on various tools as needed
- Log 40hrs of time every week in PSA/ServiceNow as applicable
- Approve (or reject) project related time entries and expenses adhering to the cut off timelines
- Complete revenue recognition activity for all assigned project as per the cut off timelines
- Set and ensure achievement of bi-annual goals w.r.t Performance, Development and Organization.
Skills Requirement :
- Well versed with Microsoft Project Professional (MPP), Jira, Confluence, PSA and ServiceNow
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Experience working in a consulting environment
- Structured, organized, disciplined and methodical
- Implemented projects based on different technologies - Azure or AWS or M365
- Total experience between 2 and 3 years, preferably from a large service organization
- Total experience not more than 2 years, preferably from a large service organization (ability to manage internal as well as external resources with a team size of atleast 7) implementing complex IT solutions
- Candidates should have created project plans in MPP and used project management tools such as PSA, ServiceNow (Project Management module), Jira, etc
