Specific Responsibilities :
- Understand Asteria's company profile, products & offerings.
- Find, evaluate, and qualify opportunities in the agriculture industry segment.
- Build a strong network amongst various industry stakeholders working in precision and digital agriculture (focus on drone-based solutions)
- Handle sales accounts from seeding to closure on time.
- Carry out post-bid record keeping.
- Pitch Asteria's products and solutions suite to potential leads.
- Schedule & attend meetings with customers across the country to further business.
- Facilitate product demos on-Customer site to showcase the technical capabilities of the drones.
- Generate leads and convert them into opportunities and orders.
- Participate in exhibitions while representing the company.
Qualifications :
- BE/B. Tech/M. Tech/M.Sc in Agriculture or allied streams. If not, should have agri industry background.
- MBA in Agriculture /Rural Management/ Marketing preferred.
Relevant Experience :
- 4-6 Years of work experience in the Agri industry.
- Should have worked in Agritech, precision agriculture, or similar kinds of industry.
- Should have worked with B2B & government clients.
Desired Skills & Characteristics :
- Thorough knowledge of the sales cycle, especially govt processes
- Understanding of the Agriculture industry, need for precision and digital agriculture, challenges faced.
- Understanding of the various industry segments/regions of operation of various agri clients
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Experience working with drone technology will be preferred.
- Excellent presentation & communication skills.
- The relevant experience involves having a strong track record in meeting Sales targets in a B2B+B2G technical sales environment.
- Intellectual, confident, curious, fast learner.
- Open to frequent domestic travel at client locations.
- Strong analytical and quantitative business skills.
