The person would be responsible for :
- Design, launch and grow courses and verticals (comprising multiple courses) to meet aspiration of prospective learners and as a consequence grow revenue and achieve profitability.
- The ideal candidate for this role is a leader of tomorrow who can lead and grow a category of ed-tech courses, by pre-empting market trends, understanding consumer preference and competitive landscape.
- The ideal candidate should have a strong foundational understanding of all aspects of business from product design, marketing, sales, finance and customer experience, and should be able to thrive, while working with multiple stakeholders to launch and grow disruptive courses.
What will you be doing:
- Work on every aspect of a course journey to make it grow and become profitable. From conceptualising to determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization, experience, partnerships and external communications, you will help shape the voice of the customer.
Profile:
Education: Bachelors or Masters/MBA from a Tier 1 University in India
Experience of: Launching and managing end to end, consumer products or a category
- Identifying short term tactics and long term plans to develop a category. Otherwise plan and execute exit strategy for unsuccessful products.
- Collaborating with and managing external partners like universities, vendors and ensure mutual success. Has worked in a fast paced growing organisations
Knowledge:
- Strong foundational understanding of digital marketing, B2C sales, PnL and category management
- Positioning, pricing, promotions and course configuration to generate and capture demand
Skill:
- Analytical approach to determining consumer and industry trends to shape the portfolio
- Conducting customer interactions to understand and uncover personas, inhibitions and aspirations
- An out of the box thinker with a solutioning mind-set. Can deal with with new and vague problems
- Manage complex projects with moving timelines and dependencies
- Great at communication and managing multiple senior stakeholders
