Job Summary
- Checking and inputting of premiums and claims received from cedents and brokers.
- Creating New or Renewal contracts in the system in cooperation with underwriting
- Assist in preparing facultative statistics for underwriters as and when requested.
- Prepare and/or check slips, cover notes, correspondence, and other records.
Key duties and responsibilities
- Input and verification of contract technical conditions into various systems; OMEGA, Forewriter and DCS.
- Verification of cedent premiums and input into system.
- Prepare claims requisition after checking claims documents from cedents/brokers.
- Communicate with cedant/broker, e.g. regarding queries, requesting supporting documents, amended closings, etc…
- Maintain monitoring of essential checks, e.g. revision of Original EGPIs and endorsements.
- Liaising with other departments (i.e. Underwriting, Claims, Credit Control, Retro, Treaty, & IT).
- Indexing &/or scanning documents to DMS - SCOR’s imaging system.
- Provide support to management team with regards to Auditor’s queries and other areas within SCOR.
- Contribute to the development and testing of system enhancements
Required experience & competencies
Experience:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience.
Personal Competences:
- Well versed in MS Office
