Job Title: Operations Manager
Job Summary:
The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of the outsourced application managed service solution. This includes managing the day-to-day activities, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. The Operations Manager will work closely with the service provider, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of services.
Responsibilities:
7+ years experience overseeing the day-to-day operations of the outsourced application managed service solution.
Ensure that service level agreements (SLAs) are met and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with the service provider to define and implement operational processes and procedures.
Monitor and analyze service performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
Manage and resolve any operational issues or escalations promptly.
Conduct regular service reviews with the service provider to assess performance and address any concerns.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Collaborate with the service provider to develop and implement a disaster recovery plan and ensure business continuity.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in managed services and make recommendations for improvements.
Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on the performance and status of the managed service solution.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration) or equivalent experience.
Proven experience in managing outsourced vendor-managed service solutions.
Strong knowledge of IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve operational issues.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in vendor management and contract negotiation.
Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
Familiarity with cloud computing, specifically AWS (Amazon Web Services) technologies is a plus.
