AddressThe job in summary is to manage the export of break bulk finished products - coils, slabs, sheets etc. to different destinations.
The position will carry out following activities:
1. Chartering of Spot Shipments / COA Shipments
2. Market intelligence and advice management for better terms and price
3. Vetting of fixture terms / Charter Party / contracts
4. Prepare proposal for amendment spot contracts
5. Maintaining MIS of Coastal / Spot shipments
6. Assisting International Marketing team for finalization of shipping terms in sales agreement and guide them with the spot freight rates for similar trade
7. Coordination with Plant / Despatch team for finalization of laycans for smooth operations
8. Actively participate in Digitisation Export Shipping Software implementation
9. Coordination with stakeholders to understand the user's requirements to ensure that the best possible terms are finalized with the Shipping companies.
10. Report generation as per management requirement
Other Details:
- The person should be a Post Graduate / MBA from a reputed institution and should have experience of 10-15 years in vessel chartering / vessel operation.
- The position is based in the Mumbai office and will report to Head - Shipping and 2 juniors will be assisting him/her
