Job purpose:
To lead & enable the operations in manufacturing to ensure on time delivery of quality finished product to customers, while maximizing resource productivity (men, machine, material, money & method) in a safe working environment.
Principal accountabilities and responsibilities:
Lead team to:
- To ensure market requirements are met through effective planning & resource utilization
- Work towards minimizing cost by reducing WMS and Tobacco Wastes. Ensuring effective budget control within the department and inculcate a cost savings mindset.
- Ensure correct systems & work practices are adhered to.
- To deliver "Q" product with minimum market complaints.
- Plan and identify developmental inputs for staff and workmen to improve their skills and attitude.
- Involving all employees in ensuring a safe and hygienic work environment.
- Ensure that all the statutory compliance are adhered.
- Maintain a cordial IR atmosphere through fair and firm practices.
- To derive & implement the manufacturing plan for secondary from the unit plan
