Senior Manager - Institutional Sales
Job Description:
- The primary responsibility of the Institutional Sales role is to identify opportunities and develop relationships with Institutional investors and investment consultants in assigned institutional market channels.
- Identifies and cultivates prospects and/or clients (Institutes)
- Initiates and follow-up on new business meetings.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients such as corporate treasuries, Business proprietors, banks, financial institutions, family offices etc.
- Regularly engage with clients to provide updates on fund performance, market trends, and investment opportunities.
- Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to develop sales strategies, pitches, and presentations tailored to meet the specific needs of different institutional clients.
- Conduct compelling presentations and product demonstrations to institutional clients, highlighting the features, benefits, and performance of the mutual funds and investment products.
- Act as a primary point of contact for institutional clients, addressing inquiries, providing updates on fund performance, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Develop a thorough understanding of clients investment guidelines, reporting requirements, and regulatory compliance.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings.
- Analyze market data and investor behaviour to identify potential sales opportunities.

Key Competencies :
- Yrs of Exp: 4 - 8 years
- Relevant experience in Institutional Sales
- Must have excellent sales skills and in-depth product and broad investment knowledge.
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Capability of having regular engagement and interaction with the clients.
- Expertise in listed equities or debt / fixed income instruments.
- In-depth knowledge of the capital market.
