About the Role
At Lendingkart we are scouting for an Area Collection Manager overseeing a recovery team, your roles and responsibilities typically involve a range of tasks aimed at efficiently recovering outstanding debts or payments.
Some high level things you would own but not limited to:
Supervise and lead a team of Collection Managers/ Inhouse Team / Recovery Agents
- Set performance targets and goals for the team.
- Monitor account statuses and prioritize collection efforts based on factors such as account age, amount owed, and likelihood of recovery.
- Handle escalated or difficult cases, working to find mutually agreeable solutions.
- Prepare regular reports on collection performance, including key metrics such as recovery rates, delinquency rates, and aging analysis.
- Coordinate with legal and compliance teams when legal action is necessary to recover debts.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to team members to enhance their skills and productivity.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies governing debt collection practices.
