EY- Procurement Functional Consultant - MENA ERP (SAP MM/WM) - Senior
As part of our GDS MENA ERP team, you will need to perform various SAP implementation & support activities, such as pre/post go live implementation support, enhancements requirements study and its implementation support as well as other consulting activities
The opportunity
We're looking for Senior level consultant with expertise in SAP Procurement modules - MM to join the group of our SAP ERP Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading firm whilst being instrumental in the growth of our service offering.
Your key responsibilities
- Facilitate the implementation and support for S4HANA Projects
- Work on Transformation projects from SAP Procurement
- Ability to manage internal and external stakeholders

- Analyse and propose solutions for requirements received from clients and other functional consultants
- Develop, document, and deliver solutions with utmost quality adhering to EY best practices
- Actively participate in entire life cycle of SAP implementations like design, estimation, development, documentation, testing and take ownership wherever required
- Collaborate with experts, architects, leads and project managers to ensure highest standards of delivery within the stipulated timelines
- Work with the business to understand their needs and coach them on the appropriate solutions, while at the same time, work with technical support team to drive them to an efficient technical solution design
- Drive improvements and innovations in development processes, methodologies, and technology
- Engage with the customers during different phases of product development to ensure success of the project
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to relate technical issues to a business audience.
- Honesty and integrity are an absolute requirement.
- Must be results oriented, and demonstrate a good attitude - adaptability, flexibility, and resourcefulness
- Willingness to travel for consulting is a must requirement
To qualify for the role, you must have
- 4 to 7 years of experience in SAP as functional consultant with good exposure to Procure to Pay modules in MM, WM
- More than two full cycle implementation experience in SAP S4HANA - MM with/without WM
- In depth knowledge on Source To pay process cycles in multiple industries
- Industry experience of Oil&Gas is an added advantage
- Integration experience with cross functional modules in SAP
- Working knowledge into SAP EWM and Ariba is an added advantage
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes, IT Service Management System (preferably ServiceNow) and Testing tool - HP ALM will also be an advantage
- Ability to quickly understand customers business requirements and to generate, promote new and creative ideas
- Ability to work as an independent consultant in project as well as leading a team
- Commitment to continuous learning and proactively implement latest technologies
Ideally, you'll also have
- SAP Certification in MM
- MBA
