Reporting directly to the VP - P &C and lead the employee engagement charter at Zafin aligning to our global EVP strategy. This role is tasked with enabling the India leaders to own talent enablement while partnering with them to create, manage, and deliver local programs and activities for our workforce that are aligned with company strategy, corporate initiatives, and goals.

This role is focused on supporting our India region in aligning to our corporate vision and strategy of driving employee experience and engagement across the site. The focus of this role will be on building a strong culture of inclusion and belonging by enhancing and strengthening the experience of employees in India. We are looking for an individual to partner with the business leaders and enable them on planning, implementing, and supporting new business strategies, initiatives resulting people impacts.

What will you do?

  • Lead and execute a plan for solid engagement and connections of employees in India
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the BU leaders and other teams to drive engagement activities in India
  • Establish a network of influencers/brand ambassadors in India to help BU leaders drive local councils
  • Derive and analyze employee experience data, strategize plan of execution and foster accountability with business leaders to address them
  • Work closely with India leadership team & global P &C leaders to drive improvement plans and manage change
  • Partner with VP - P &C to build a communication plan for regional events
  • Partner with Admin & Facilities, Employee councils and India Leaders to enable them with regional events.
  • Oversee and coach India leaders to help organize, promote, and drive employee engagement through site events and activities, social responsibility, employer branding initiatives, and other events.
  • Lead and execute programs that facilitate open feedback and communication between employees, People managers and BU leaders to drive continuous improvement
  • Promote performance driven culture, improve employer brand being an advisor to People Managers and BU leaders
  • Partner with global P & C members, in recruiting top talent, onboarding, professional development, performance management, retention efforts, and other hiring events.
  • Derive the employee engagement calendar and partner with India leaders to drive seamless execution
  • Help position the India site within the community by communicating local success stories and global leader's visits.
  • Partner with India leaders and local Facilities to ensure employee health and safety and crisis management communication

Pre Requisites :

  • Minimum 12-15 years of experience in the HR domain handling employee engagement / partnering with BU leaders to drive excellence & enabling their people strategy
  • Must be a strategic thinker with a creative approach and a can-do attitude
  • Understanding of employee experience and engagement, employer brand and key drivers
  • Ability to lead and deliver within tight deadlines and willingness to go the extra mile work to ensure a task is completed on time when required.
  • Must be "hands-on" in bringing execution and process discipline and a focus on achieving tangible goals consistent with the winning high-performance culture of the organization.
  • Highly collaborative and can partner effectively with functional leaders, as well as working and organizing teams in planning and executing activities globally
  • Ability to identify areas of concern and raise to an appropriate level of management
  • Displays strong leadership skills in being the SME for employee experience
  • Should be constantly looking for ways to improve processes to promote efficiency
  • Ability to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders globally
  • A mature approach to work and the ability to work autonomously
  • A strong positive and ethical approach to work and how work gets done
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong presentation, analytical and project management experience
