Project Manager Senior Lead (International Network)
Job Summary
As a fully formed delivery practitioner, you play an integral role in achieving outcomes in program delivery and leverage ways of working through partnering with Group Owners to deliver against their OKRs. Your peers recognise you for supporting the development of engaged and high performing teams that deliver great outcomes for our customers. You use your experience working with complex stakeholder environments to manage expectations and deliver within the budget, quality and scope constraints.
You demonstrate Telstra behaviours and expertise in delivery. You actively contribute to the growth of the chapter and others by sharing insights and guidance to enable others' growth and skills uplift. You will bring experience and expertise in one or more role in Delivery including Project Manager, Group Scrum Lead or Scrum Lead.

The role is focused on ensuring that the Telstra network delivers a superior network economics performance and network experience for our customers. The role will be lead planning and program management of Telstra Internationals major digital infrastructure network projects focused delivering network optimization and capacity upgrades to support customer growth.

What You'll Do
Global Networks & Technology - Network & Infrastructure Engineering designs and delivers Telstra's network and infrastructure solutions, ensuring they're reliable, scalable, and secure.
This is how you'll bring the purpose of your role to life:
Demonstrate Telstra behaviors and expertise in delivery. You actively contribute to the growth of the chapter and others by sharing insights and guidance to enable others' growth and skills uplift. You will bring experience and expertise in one or more role in Delivery including Project Manager, Planning, and elevating visibility of critical milestones to guarantee success and proactive solutioning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver projects and programs that are stand alone or part of a larger set of connected projects (e.g. with varying initiative size, stakeholders, budget, domain/design, risk) that are determined to be a company priority and deliver upon group objectives. Methodical Approach
- Project management and delivery methodologies (e.g. scope, stakeholder, risk, issues, communications, integration management)
- Team building and facilitation, conflict resolution and effective negotiation.
- Telstra Delivery Policies and Standards
- Telstra Financial Management for Project / Capital Management
- Telstra planning and performance processes
- Partner with the Group Owner and/or Product Owners to plan and lead the achievement of the Group Key Results
About You
- Degree in Engineering or Business
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience
- PM Network programs in IP and Optical
- Strong Project Management acumen; strong Project management skills and experience
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to drive Executive level overall performance reporting.
- Network background, within the Transmission and IP space
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Understanding of capital financial.
- Proactive and solutions orientated.
