Project Lead Engineer

You will be working as Senior Technical Specialist and will be part of Process Automation Business Area for Energy Industries division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Engineering Manager and will be responsible for designing and executing DCS engineering activities in service projects with low to medium complexity, according to standard work instructions, quality standards and safety guidelines. Delivering quality customer service to satisfy customers.

Your responsibilities

• Evaluating, selecting, applying standard techniques and procedures to perform Engineering assignments in projects. Assisting in preparing proposal or presentation of service engineering projects or programs
• Identifying customer (internal or external) requirements, analyzing document as-is process, process interfaces, discover process gaps and design to-be integration in collaboration with business resources
• Creating work plans, cost estimating for overall scope, ensuring quality deliverables on time and within targeted cost. Mentoring and guiding the team through the project aspects
• Collaborating with business, other IT teams to deliver solutions within timeline, assisting customer, technical issues and interacting with official contracts
• Identifying suggestions for product, quality, customer service improvement and discussing them with management for changes
• Interacting with various stakeholders, understanding the customer demands, updating self with latest trends and technologies used in process automation domain

Your background

• BE or B Tech in Instrumentation, Electronics and Communications Engineering
• Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in Process Automation especially in the field of Oil and Gas / Refineries / Petrochemicals
• Experience in the selection, specification, configuration, testing and maintenance of safety instrumented systems (SIS) following IEC 61508/ 61511
• Having ABB legacy system (Advant, Plantguard, Safeguard, Infi90, SCADAVantage) experience can be an advantage
