Assistant Project Lead – BIM Coordinator

What this job involves
Creativity is at the core of this role, and the ideal candidate will have this skill at his disposal.
As the person in charge, you’ll serve as the creative design influencer. You’ll develop creative concepts, designs and strategies that add value and edge to our workplace. On top of this, you’ll also collaborate with regional offices to help improve their interior design capabilities, staff and technical expertise.
Being on top of creative design
Identify design standards and manage the documentation for design, tenders and construction process from concept to completion.
Influencing team members
Serve as mentor to the design team and help them realize their full potential.
You are also expected to work well in a multi-cultural, multilingual team environment.

Desired experience and technical skills
Required
An authority in creative design
The ideal candidate has a degree in interior design, architecture or related field, and at least 7 years’ experience in workplace or corporate interior projects, either consultancy or design and build.
Likewise, we’re looking for someone knowledgeable in various software including AutoCAD, Sketch Up, and Adobe Creative Suite
Taking information from multiple plans and incorporating them into a single computer model which can be used to build and maintain a structure
Liaising with design teams, clients, architects, surveyors, engineers and project managers
Assisting engineers and senior managers with drawings and blueprints
Producing structural models, drawings and schedules using computer programmes and BIM
Presenting your designs and making amends based on feedback or prototype testing
Designing technical solutions for buildings and other structures
Ensuring plans are accurate and easy to interpret
