Position Summary:
The Software Project Leader is responsible to manage the development tasks for the Harman programs from the early RFI/RFQ phase through SOP up to the maintenance phase.
This responsibility includes the SW part with complete Solution integrated with HW and Mechanical unit as a product.
The Software Project Leader is processing the analysis and development tasks across multiple domains and handling the delivery of the compiled SW to the relevant project stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for the Software Project Management of telematics projects for OEM customers
- Planning, prioritization and monitoring of all SW development activities during the development phase for SOP as well as afterwards during the maintenance phase.
- Active customer alignment with respect to schedules, scope, deliveries and technical contents
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
- Technical steering for selected functional areas (cross functional & international e.g. India/ Japan/China/Israel/Brazil as required)
- Regular meetings with OEM-customer for all aspects of technical status, Software Feature rollout & progress.
- Being responsible for the tracking and the provision of the technical analysis of FTRs, Customer Complains and 0-km-defects.
- Realizing and supporting the whole Requirement Engineering and Change management process (int/ext).
- Executing all requirements from either company or customer in order to ensure overall software quality.
- Create and update adequate documentation and sync with overall Program Management + Customer.
- Control of technical decisions from sub departments in regards of overall software impacts.
Basic Qualifications:
- University degree in engineering (Electrical engineering, Information Technology or appropriate graduation or technician)
- Minimum 7-8 years of experience in automotive software projects acting as lead
- Experience in software integration and development
- Leadership skills on technical & management level
- Good communication skills with conflict management skill
- Excellent skills in MS Office, MS Project, Doors, Perforce, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High sense of responsibility and can work independently in the area of project management.
- Fundamental knowledge in terms of methodologies in software management especially w/r to planning and controlling
- Technical and commercial English fluently
- Ability to analyze, to communicate and to present
- Ability to work under pressure
- Willingness to travel
