Artic Consulting has an immediate opening for a Manager, Marketer to join our team. This is a full-time, direct-hire, permanent position. 

Responsibilities 

The mission of the Manager, Marketer is to play a key role in driving the growth of our business by identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and contributing to the overall success of the company. This position requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.  The Manager, Marketer will also be working with the larger team to build out Artic’s consulting service offerings across multiple technologies and industries.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies: A marketing person is responsible for creating and executing marketing plans that align with the company’s overall business goals. This may involve conducting market research to identify target markets, developing marketing campaigns, and setting marketing budgets.

  • Conduct market research: Market research is an important part of a marketing person’s job. They may conduct surveys, focus groups, and other types of research to gather information about customer needs, preferences, and behaviors. This information is used to inform marketing strategies and make data-driven decisions.

  • Create marketing materials: A marketing person may be responsible for creating a variety of marketing materials, including graphics, brochures, advertisements, and presentations. These materials should be visually appealing, informative, and consistent with the company’s brand.

  • Manage social media accounts: social media is an important marketing tool for many companies. A marketing person may be responsible for managing the company’s social media accounts, creating and sharing content, and engaging with followers.

  • Organize events: Events such as product launches, trade shows, and webinars can be an effective way to promote a company’s products or services. A marketing person may be responsible for planning and organizing these events, including coordinating logistics, inviting attendees, and creating promotional materials.

  • Analyze data: A marketing person may be responsible for analyzing data to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. This may involve tracking metrics such as website traffic, social media engagement, and sales. Based on this data, the marketing person may make recommendations for improvements to future campaigns.

  • Collaborate with other departments: A marketing person may work closely with other departments, such as sales, product development, and customer service, to ensure a consistent brand message and customer experience. They may also collaborate on cross-functional projects and initiatives.

Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a Marketing or in a similar role.

  • Strong understanding of Technology and Financial industry and market dynamics.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with US clients

  • Proficiency in MS Office, Dynamics Marketing, LinkedIn and WordPress software.

  • Ability to create dynamic, compelling graphics using the Adobe suite of products (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro)

  • Self-motivated and self-disciplined; ability to work alone to complete tasks in a timely manner without significant day-to-day management oversight.

  • Enjoy working in a fast paced, high-output, time sensitive environment.

  • Experience working with Microsoft Partner Marketplace Offering and Digital Marketing Campaigns

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Demonstrate understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle, Agile/Scrum, and Waterfall/SDLC methodologies.

  • Demonstrate experience managing stakeholders’ expectations and effectively mitigating dissatisfied stakeholders.

  • Collaborative, with the ability to influence team members, development teams, and other business groups, often without direct management authority.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft’s Azure products.

  • Familiarity with the basic concepts of using Microsoft Project for project schedule generation and tracking.

Professional Skills 

  • Prior consulting experience preferred.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proven ability to build, manage, and foster a team-oriented environment.

  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
