Manager, Finance Business Partnering, Operations
Role Description:
This role will be part of the Business Partnering team of the Operations division. The successful candidate will combine excellent commercial, communication and technical skills to provide financial insight for the Operations division including Business Partnering, reporting, planning and forecasting.
Role Responsibilities
- Provide commercial insight, analysis and decision support to senior management
- Consolidating, analyzing and providing information to management through monthly reporting packs and ad-hoc reporting decks
- Work with the Finance Controllership team during the monthly accounts closure process to review P&L and Balance Sheet entries
- Conducting robust month end review process across the cost base – variance analysis, forecasting, planning, etc
- Responsible for financial analysis, modelling, validating and tracking cost synergy initiatives and outcomes
- Developing business cases and financial analysis of projects
- Support end to end monthly business reviews (MBRs) and budgeting process, working with senior management
- Lead on Property KPI / Metrics project work with objective to roll out robust set of KPIs / Metrics for internal and external audience
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Qualified chartered accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with over 5 years post qualified experience, which includes accounting and Business Partnering activities (budgeting, forecasting, performance reporting, strategy evaluation, analysis and insight)
- Real Estate / Property Lease Accounting experience – preferred, not essential
- Excellent use of MS Office packages, PowerPoint, Excel, Word
- Reporting, planning and accounting tools (e.g. Pyramid//SAP/Oracle) experience
- Be a lead proponent in driving a collaborative culture across the division
- Adaptable to working in a fast-changing environment
- Strong process orientation with the ability to design robust reporting frameworks
- Ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues globally
- Proficiency in written and spoken English including the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
- Ability to work according to UK work hours
- Highly numerate with advanced excel / financial modelling and excellent analytical skills
- Work autonomously and methodically, and able to organise/prioritise workload
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to influence
- High attention to detail and accuracy
