Purpose of the job


  • Relationship management with OEMs and large Key Accounts to ensure business continuity, sustenance, and growth of Market Share.
  • Strengthen sales and developmental actions in the Auto business in the North Region.
  • High engagement with OEM and large OEM Tier 1 and 2 applicators across the North region.
  • Drive OEM sales and business development for Suzuki.
  • Cross functions internally working with teams of SC, Product management, logistics, RDI, TS for timely development and servicing of customers.

2. Key responsibilities


  • Revenues contribution from North to be 14 Cr 2024.
  • Sales and Service to OEM applicators, post-sales payment collections as per AkzoNobel norms.
  • New projects follow-up and approvals based on OEM Development process and represent Akzo in OEM discussions during new project process by OEM
  • Cross functions internal working with teams of SC, Product management, logistics, RDI, and TS for timely development and servicing of customers.
  • Drive and closely work with TS team for timely service.
  • Hands-on with productivity tools like CRM, IBP forecasting.
  • Hands-on with the sales process.

3. Level of autonomy


  • Demand and Forecast management – internal and external.
  • Drive budget delivery within approved business agreed margins

4. Job Requirements


  • Sales professional with 10 -12 years of experience in OEM handling and Key account management especially in Paint/coatings and paint technical knowledge.
  • MSc / B tech person with Management college exposure will be preferred.
