Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
2. Manage the recruitment and selection process
3. Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital
4. Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization
5. Work on nurturing a positive working environment
6. Maintain pay plan and program
7. Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
8. Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
9. Maintain HR documentation, such as employee handbook, standard operating.10. procedures, policies and guidelines, and service agreements
11. Maintain compliance with state, federal, or local labor or employment laws
