Telecom Sales Head- A telecom/ISP Company


Job Title: Telecom Sales Head
Mandatory skills: The candidate should have experience in hardcore broadband sales for minimum of 8years to 10 years.
Job Summary:
The Telecom Sales Head is responsible for overseeing all sales activities within the telecommunications sector of the company. They lead and manage a team of sales professionals, develop sales strategies, and ensure the achievement of revenue targets. The Telecom Sales Head is also tasked with fostering strong relationships with clients, identifying market opportunities, and driving business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company objectives and revenue targets within the telecom sector.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate the telecom sales team to drive performance and meet sales goals.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, understanding their needs and providing appropriate solutions.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats within the telecommunications industry.
- Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the company's telecom products and services, as well as competitor offerings, to effectively position and sell to clients.
- Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and prepare regular reports for management, including sales forecasts, pipeline status, and performance metrics.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure alignment and support in achieving sales objectives.
- Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for the sales team to enhance their skills and capabilities.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements in all sales activities.
- Customer Satisfaction: Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing concerns, resolving issues, and ensuring timely delivery of products and services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.
- Proven experience in telecom sales, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.
- Strategic thinker with analytical abilities to analyze market trends and make data-driven decisions.
- Knowledge of telecommunications products, services, and industry trends.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in sales management software and CRM tools.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Results-oriented with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
