AddressFinance Executive - Mid Level Reporting to: Co-Founders (Chief Operating Officer and Chief of Strategy, Finance & Compliance)
Location: Bangalore preferred, with frequent travel to Delhi for important meetings. Candidates based in Delhi will be considered, but travel to the Bangalore office is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Management and Reporting: Ensure accuracy and timeliness in financial entries and reporting. Lead end-to-end accounting processes, including month-end closing by the 7th and drafting P&L and Balance Sheet by the 10th. Provide detailed monthly reviews for management decision-making and update Business MIS daily for revenue scrutiny.
- Oversee invoicing activities to prevent working capital leakage and manage receivable follow-ups. Financial Analysis and Controls: Implement working capital controls through cash flow projections and review actual cash variance regularly. Develop and maintain dashboards for gross margin analysis across business verticals.
- Data Management and Analytics: Proficiency in Excel and data correlation for analytical dashboards. Experience with Busy, ERP, and logistics operations preferred. Bookkeeping and Financial Operations: Maintain Busy ERP bookkeeping and generate regular reports. Ensure accurate and timely invoice generation and manage capital expenditure bookings and adjustments. Track loans, EMIs, and interests, and review with management. Vendor and Client Management: Process bills, salaries, and invoice discounting accurately.
- Maintain trackers for invoice discounting facilities and ensure timely adjustments. Verify vendor bills, transportation payments, and reconcile debtor and creditor balances. Compliance: Manage TDS, GST, PF, ESI calculations, and deposit challans accurately and on time.
- Reconcile books with GST returns and ensure successful audit completion without major observations. Generate E-way bills if required and handle other statutory compliance tasks. Other Duties: Follow up on overdue payments and issues with deductions, preparing cheques, and handling financial transactions.
- Manage online banking, tax payments, and clarifications of accounting entries. Maintain records, perform daily backups, and handle other reports and communications as directed by management.
Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's/Masters degree in finance, accounting, or related field; CA, MBA Fin, CA Inter, B.Com, or equivalent. 4 to 8 years of experience in finance and accounting roles. Proficiency in Busy ERP, Excel, and data analytics.
